Help us celebrate sustainable energy efforts in Colorado!
Community for Sustainable Energy is excited to introduce the first ever Energy Carnivàle! The Carnivàle brings together citizen groups working on energy, sustainability, or green projects. There will be a carnivàle area, beer from Odell Brewing Company, live music from the Swashbuckling doctors, and much more.
The Energy Carnivàle will focus on games and interactive experiences to show how energy can be captured, utilized and transformed. Each game is an opportunity for energy focused educational groups to create hands-on demonstrations. Some of the games include: Human Foosball, Life-sized Plinko and human sized mouse wheel. Costumes are encouraged, especially those that use, re-use, recycle or recreate found materials. There will be a costume contest with trophies for: most original, Steam Punk, people’s choice, and best revision with a Grand Prize from the Bike Coop! It's Mardi Gras time so think in Green, Gold and Purple Steampunk!
